Western Digital (WD) finally did a refresher in their external hard drive of the family MyBook Studio. Where present, the ability of USB 3.0 has been immersed in that version.

The device also includes WD Security, which allows users to protect their drive with 256-bit hardware-based encryption for extra protection from unauthorized access to the drive and its contents.
