Research In Motion (RIM) will launch the BlackBerry platform 10 (BB 10) with two devices on Jan. 30. However one of the leading vendors are reportedly interested in the platform.

Known as a manufacturer of notebooks and Android-based smartphones in China and other Asian markets, the company now continues its efforts to develop its business in the United States (U.S.) is more significant.

There is no clear indication whether Lenovo just wanted to partner with RIM's latest operating license, or acquire a full hardware division. "We look at all opportunities - RIM and many others. We did not hesitate when the right opportunity comes along that can benefit us and our shareholders," said Lenovo CFO Wong Wai Ming in a Bloomberg report.
