Qualcomm reveals, 5 billion smartphones will be sold between 2012 and 2016. Technology company that develops chips for a number of Android devices, including the Nexus 4 is presented his analysis at a meeting in San Diego.

Moreover, as a major provider of 4G LTE chips, Qualcomm would benefit by adding internal connectivity on mobile devices such as portable computers and tablets.
