Panasonic is rumored to be leaving the TV market. Correspondents say these electronics furniture manufacturers will stop producing TV and switch only made display.


WTC reported by Reuters and quoted on Thursday (18/10/2012), the Japanese company will stop
producing LCD and plasma TV screens from next year. Instead, Panasonic will focus on making small or medium-sized screens for products like tablets.

Citing the data Nikkei, the Japanese stock market index for the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Reuters reported sales of Panasonic plasma TVs are expected to fall by half to 2.5 million units. While sales of LCD will show a minimum annual growth.

The market for gadgets assessed Panasonic display more lucrative than TV. This is because consumers increasingly like devices such as tablets dominated by Apple's iPad.
