Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) requested that Android smartphone users to beware of a new type of malware that appears to be specific for the attack made by Google's OS device.
Two types of malware called the FBI is Loozfon and FinFisher. Loozfon is a type of malware designed to
steal information. This malicious program spread out in various ways, but in many cases to hide behind false advertising.
Pitfalls LoozFon will direct the victim to a website. After finding himself on the device, the malware steals cell phone number owner and contact details in the address book.
FinFisher claimed as dangerous malware. Therefore, the ability to be able to take full control of the smartphone and allows controlled remotely.
FBI warns that FinFisher distributed via malicious websites, usually disguised as system updates.
To protect yourself against these threats, Android users are advised to ensure that the features and functions that are not used to minimize the attack off.
