I just got to do the 'clean-up' to the applications and services they have. One of the policies 'net-net' is combining Google Drive service and Picasa.


Picasa itself now provides 1GB of storage that can be obtained for free. While Google Drive, providing free facilities for storing data at 5GB. So, for the owner of a Google account, can actually be obtained 6GB of
free storage.

However, with the incorporation of step with Google's Picasa Drive, you will not get 6GB of free storage. Instead you 'only' can get 5GB of storage facilities, 1GB less than before.

A similar policy applies to paid users. If previously you will get a total of 105GB of free cloud storage, so with this new policy, a 100GB merucut number only. This merging step is according to Google will be done in the next few months.
