Instagram has just announced that in the near future, they are not interested in creating applications for the Windows Phone platform. The company is now owned by Facebook's clear that they are not currently working on versions of Windows Phone.

Earlier, The Verge reported that Instagram will make a version for Windows Phone. In the report, The Verge said that they had seen a glimpse of the Instagram in the promotion of the Nokia Lumia 920. This
information was then denied by Instagram as reported by VentureBeat.
Facebook itself has declined to comment on rumors of Instagram app for Windows Phone. "We did not want to comment on rumors or speculation about our products," said Facebook spokesperson told VentureBeat.

Earlier this month, Facebook announced that they have officially acquired Instagram. This acquisition includes a very positive step for Facebook. Moreover Instagram has 80 million users and 5 billion photos are uploaded and shared by July 2012.
