Research in Motion (RIM) recently launched its updated PlayBook OS 2.1 for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet users. With the 2.1 update, BlackBerry PlayBook users can use it to send SMS device, like a cell phone. The tablet users can send SMS using the BlackBerry Bridge application.
With the update, BlackBerry PlayBook users will also get additional features encryption to provide security for personal data stored on the tablet. To enable this feature, tablet owners just go on the menu Options>
Security> Encryption.
RIM also provides an application called Print To Go in that update. This application will allow owners of the tablet to send documents via WiFi networks. Moreover, the PlayBook tablet users can also display messages, contacts and calendar in portrait mode.
