Microsoft Launches SkyDrive in Android


Microsoft finally provides cloud-based data storage services for Android. Service called SkyDrive just designed the look of your display Windows 8 Metro offers free cloud storage for up to 7 GB.


Following SkyDrive that have been present for the Windows Phone and Apple iOS, an application for Android is now available in the Android Store.


quoted from TechCrunch, Wednesday (29/08/2012), SkyDrive can actually use from Android 2.3 Gingerbread to the top, but Microsoft is more suggested application running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Just like Windows Phone and iOS, SkyDrive on Android also offers easy access to all the documents that have been stored in the cloud. We can also see a list of documents that have been opened, and other document sharing.

SkyDrive also be a liaison Microsoft Web-based services, including Office applications. With SkyDrive, Microsoft directly compete with similar services such as SugarSync, Dropbox, Google Drive, and Apple iCloud.
